More than just an auction!

Anyone who’s anyone is going to be at Chippy Lido this Friday evening for the annual Auction of Promise. Not only will you be able to snap a great range of lots and enjoy the one and only Jeremy Clarkson in action, you’ll be able to dance the night away too.

Once the gavel has fallen on the final lot, the Chipping Norton All Stars will be playing for those of you in a party mood … and if you haven’t heard the All Stars before … ‘Nobody does it better’! So make sure you put on your dancing shoes and come along ready to swing.

The Auction countdown has begun.

With only 7 days to go before the Chippy Lido Auction of Promise, tickets sales are going well. If you’re planning on coming along, tickets are still available from Jaffé & Neale (the Bookshop) and the Lido, during opening hours. Numbers are limited, so if you haven’t yet got your tickets, don’t delay! Sales always soar in the 2 weeks before the event, particularly with our own Jeremy Clarkson wielding the gavel on the night. And … if you’re in any doubt how popular the auction really is … this website been viewed nearly 3,000 times since its launch on May 8th this year!

Stop Press - Changes to Lots 8 and 35!

Lot 8 – Chocoholics rejoice! … unfortunately the performance of Macbeth at The North Wall Theatre has been cancelled. This lot has been replaced with Chocolate Coronary … a selection of chocolate cakes fit for the most ardent chocoholic! See the Lots 1-10 page for more information.
