This document will outline the steps
for IRUN resellers to begin their
own AFFILIATE
PROGRAM. As you may
already know, an effective Affiliate
Program allows you to dramatically
increase your exposure across the
Internet – if done correctly.
In fact, many web-based businesses
essentially make their living through
this medium.
Some of the benefits of our
Affiliate Program are the following:
- Quick Set-up
- Invisible Tracking
(no codes are passed in the URL)
- Easy differentiation
between Paying and Demo accounts so affiliates
(and you) can easily determine success
rates
- Reports
Let’s go through the steps
of setting up a NEW Affiliate together.
You can add as many Affiliates as
you like following these basic steps.
Once you’ve logged in to your
Customer Management Area, click on
the link called “Affiliates”
and you will be presented with the
page below.
Then click on “Create
New Affiliate”.

Complete the form with your NEW Affiliate’s
information (all fields, including
fax number, are mandatory).
For the URL, just enter the root
URL (www.affiliate.com)
rather than the exact page you may
have a link from (for example, www.affiliate.com/partners.asp).
IRUN will intelligently track the
click-thru from the ROOT URL.
Once you’ve entered the information,
click “Create”.
You have now successfully created
your Affiliate – no need
to assign them a tracking code!

You will notice that the NEW Affiliate
is now listed. You can either create
another Affiliate or, if necessary,
edit the existing Affiliate’s
information (now or at any time in
the future).

Now let’s imagine that your
Affiliate places a text link (could
also be a graphical link) FROM their
website to YOURS. After a few hours,
you receive your first click-thru
from a user who was visiting your
Affiliate’s website and they
sign-up for a DEMO of the website
builder on your website…
How can you tell if it was indeed
this Affiliate that sent you this
referral? Go to Step 3…
If you would like to check to see
how your Affiliates are performing
you can do so by clicking on “Customers”
in your Customer Management Area.
You will now see a drop down that
consists of your Affiliates (once
they have been assigned).
You can simply pull a report from
here to.

Based on their performance and the
agreement you have in place with your
Affiliates, you can compensate them
monthly or quarterly based on how
many customers have become “Paying”
customers (versus “Demo”).
Lastly, Affiliates always want to
know how they’re performing…
How can they check without actually
logging in through your Customer Management
Area? See Step 4.
Every IRUN reseller will now notice
that they have an Affiliate login
area when you go online located at
www.resellerwebsite.com/affiliate.
This is where your affiliates will
login to view their results.
Here, the Affiliate can enter in
their user name (email address) and
password.

Once logged in they will be able
to view their Referral Report and
determine how much you owe them based
on how many customers are marked “Paying”
versus “Demo”.

can not go any further than this for
security purposes…
